The Pony Express™ Pump Down Initiator provides a safe and reliable method of perforating the casing at the toe of a cemented horizontal wellbore. Placed as the last step of the cementing process, the Pony Express™ system can eliminate the cost of traditional conveyance methods or wellbore modifications to provide an effective solution for initiating a pump down flow path. Once established, this flow path can then be utilized for pumping down perforating guns or any tool assembly desired.
